Privacy Policy
Short version. BeerRadar helps you find the nearest pub serving a chosen beer. Your location is used on your device to point the compass and is not stored on our servers. Your beer diary and achievements live on your device; if you create an account they can also be backed up to your account. Analytics, if you allow it, are anonymous. You can delete all your data at any time.
This app and website ("BeerRadar", "we", "us") are operated by Tomáš Partman, Slovakia. For any privacy question contact us at tomaspartmanapp@gmail.com. This policy explains what data we process and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and similar laws.

|---|---|---|
| Approximate & precise location | To show the compass direction and distance to nearby pubs and to find pubs within range | On your device only. Used live; not transmitted to or stored by us. |

| Beer prices you enter (optional) | To remember what you paid and, in aggregate and anonymised, to show typical prices | On your device / your account; anonymised aggregates may be sent if analytics is enabled. |
| Account info: display name (optional), email | Only if you create an account, to authenticate you and sync data across devices | Authentication provider (see section 4). |
| Anonymous usage events & a random app id | Only if you opt in: to understand which features are used and improve the app | Our analytics provider. No name or email; location is coarse (about 11 km). |
| Device & technical data (app version, OS, crash logs) | Stability and diagnostics | Analytics/crash provider. |
We do not sell your data, we do not show third-party ads, and we do not use your data for advertising profiling.
You can use BeerRadar as a guest without an account. In guest mode your data stays on your device. Anonymous analytics are off by default and only run if you turn the toggle on (Profile → Anonymous stats). You can withdraw consent at any time in the same place.
Providers act on our instructions under data-processing agreements. Some may process data outside your country (e.g. the EU/US) under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
On-device data remains until you delete it or uninstall the app. Account data is kept while your account exists. When you delete your account (see below) we erase your account profile, diary, achievements, route history, check-ins and prices, and disconnect any linked sign-in. Anonymised aggregate statistics that can no longer identify you may be retained.
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise any right, or to delete your account and data, see Delete your account or email tomaspartmanapp@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to your data-protection authority.
BeerRadar is about beer and is intended for users who are of legal drinking age in their country. It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy; we will change the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
